Team Enoch shall provide Customer with a limited warranty on service and labor for the duration set forth in the Installation Agreement, beginning on the date of completion of services against defects in the quality of workmanship and/or materials (“Warranty Period”).
Team Enoch shall not be liable during or following the Warranty Period for any: damage due to ordinary wear and tear or abusive use; damage due to use of the equipment beyond the design temperatures (cooling set below 70°F, for instance); loss, injury or damages caused in any way by the weather elements; conditions resulting from condensation on, or expansion or contraction or, any materials; any water leak, blockage, freezing, or other malfunction of condensate or drain lines; and/or air leaks arising from structural deficiencies within existing supply/return ducts or transitions.
Drain Line Waver:
The installation of your high efficiency HVAC equipment is likely to create/produce greater amounts of condensate/water flowing through your drain lines.
- Existing main drain lines can have partial clogs due to years of use. Algae and fungi can grow and clog the drain line as well.
- Most horizontal unit condensate lines terminate into p-traps under sinks, and vertical unit lines tie into existing plumbing drains. These need to be kept free and clear of hair and any other substance for unit to drain appropriately
- During the install our technicians blow lines using nitrogen to ensure proper flow at time of install.
- Team Enoch is not responsible for the operation and condition of condensate lines and drainage after install is completed.
Tips for ensuring drain lines remain as clear as possible:
Treat your condensate quarterly: 1. turn off air conditioner 2. locate condensate line 3. pour 1 cup of vinegar, or other product made for clearing drains. 4. let this sit for 30 minutes 5. flush with water. 6. keep drains and p-traps under sinks free and clear of build-up and hair.
