WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT THE ESSENCY WATER HEATER?
The E55R, designed for Essency water heater installation and hot water system setup, operates uniquely compared to traditional water heaters. It doesn't involve the consumption of the 55 gallons of water stored in the tank. Instead, this "static water" serves as heat storage. When you need hot water, the domestic water is directed through a heat exchanger. This heat exchanger instantly transfers heat from the water in the storage tank to the domestic water, delivering hot water straight from the tap.
The tank is filled only once, during the unit's initial installation, and the water remains inside throughout the water heater's lifespan. Additionally, since it's constructed with a polymer composite, scale cannot form inside the tank. This not only extends the tank's life by decades but also prolongs the life of other critical components, such as the heating elements.

20 years on the tank, 6 years on the heat exchanger. The warranty is fully transferable to a new owner if the house is sold.
Easy to Maintain:
Polymer tank requires no routine flushing. All parts are easily accessible and replaceable, making the unit less expensive to repair.

Easy-to-use touchscreen and MyEssency phone app provide control over energy and water efficiencies as well as performance. Includes Smart and Heat+ modes, and temporary functions like Vacation, Boost, and Water Saver.

Short answer: No. But our one exception is when a customer requests us to complete something out of our scope in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC. Typically, we encourage the customer to hire their own tradesmen if it’s something we don’t do.
However, special circumstances may allow us to partner with another company/individual to accomplish a task that is outside of our trade set. For example, if a customer requests iron cages to be put around their outside condenser, we will reach out to skilled ironworkers to get it done.

Are you licensed and insured?
Our licensure can be found online for our three trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC). We also hold unique certifications, such as licensed Tyco Copalum installers.
We cover liability insurance for all three trades as well as workman’s compensation for all staff. Our aggregate insurance covers up to $2 million and $1 million per occurrence.
